Installing Binance on an Android phone is much simpler than on iPhone — you can have it done in just a few minutes. Since domestic app stores also do not list Binance, you need to download the APK file from the official source. Head to the Binance official website to find the download link and grab the official Binance app for Android. If you have friends using iPhones, share the iOS installation guide with them.
Full Download and Installation Process
Step 1: Open the Binance download page
Using your phone's browser, go to the Binance official website and find the "Download" button or the app download page. You will see download options for both Android and iOS — tap "Android" to begin.
Step 2: Download the APK file
After tapping download, your browser will start downloading an APK file. The file size is roughly 100-200 MB, so WiFi is recommended. During the download, your browser may show a warning saying "This type of file can harm your device." This is Android's default warning for all non-app-store downloads — no need to worry. Tap "Download Anyway."
Step 3: Allow installation from unknown sources
Once the download finishes, tap the APK file to begin installation. If this is your first time installing an app outside the app store, the system will prompt you to "Allow installation from unknown sources." The path varies by brand:
- Huawei: Settings > Security > More Security Settings > Install Unknown Apps > Select your browser > Enable
- Xiaomi: Settings > Privacy Protection > Special Permissions > Install Unknown Apps > Select browser > Allow
- OPPO/Realme: Settings > Security > Install Unknown Apps > Select browser > Allow
- Vivo: Settings > Security & Privacy > Install Unknown Apps > Select browser > Allow
- Samsung: Settings > Biometrics and Security > Install Unknown Apps > Select browser > Allow
After enabling this, return to the APK file and tap install.
Step 4: Complete installation
Installation takes just a few seconds. When finished, the Binance icon will appear on your home screen. Tap to open it, log in with your account, and you are ready to start.
Common Issues and Solutions
Slow download speed: Likely a network issue. Try switching between WiFi and mobile data, or download at a different time.
"Parse error" during installation: This usually means the APK was not fully downloaded. Delete the file and download again. Make sure your connection stays stable throughout — do not switch networks mid-download.
App crashes after installation: Check your Android version. Binance generally requires Android 6.0 or higher. If your system is too old, upgrade first. Some phones' battery-saving or memory management features may kill Binance in the background — add it to the whitelist or disable battery optimization.
Huawei "Pure Mode" blocking installation: Huawei EMUI has a "Pure Mode" that prevents installing non-store apps. Disable it first: Settings > System & Updates > Pure Mode > Turn Off. You can re-enable it after installation.
Xiaomi security scan warning: Xiaomi phones scan APKs during installation and may show a "Risk detected" alert. This is because Binance is not in the Xiaomi store — the system warns about all unknown-source apps by default. Tap "Continue Installation."
How to Update the App
Since Binance is not in any app store, it will not auto-update. Two update methods are available:
In-app update: Open Binance. If a new version is available, an update prompt usually appears at startup. Tap update. You can also check manually in Settings > About > Check for Updates.
Manual download: If the in-app update fails, download the latest APK from the official website and install it. The old version will be overwritten automatically. Your account data will not be lost.
Installing Binance on Android is definitely much easier than on iPhone — just make sure you download from official channels. Never download a supposed "Binance app" from unknown websites, as it could be a counterfeit phishing app that steals your credentials. Always use the Binance official website.
