You have sent the money but your account still shows zero — this is probably the most nerve-wracking moment for any crypto newcomer. The funds are gone from your bank, but nothing has appeared in Binance. Do not panic. Most of these situations are resolvable. Open the Binance official website or the official Binance app to check your order status. iPhone users who cannot open the app can follow the iOS installation guide to reinstall.
C2C Purchase Not Credited
If you bought USDT through C2C trading, paid the money, but the merchant has not released the coins, follow these steps:
Step 1: Confirm you tapped "I've Paid"
Many people complete the payment and assume they are done, forgetting to return to Binance and tap "I've Paid." Without tapping this button, the merchant has no idea you have paid. Go back and tap it now.
Step 2: Allow reasonable time
After confirming payment, the merchant needs time to verify your transfer. This typically takes 5-15 minutes. Bank card transfers may take slightly longer, especially for cross-bank transfers.
Step 3: Message the merchant
On the order page, there is a chat window for communicating directly with the merchant. Send a polite message like "Hello, payment has been sent. Please confirm and release." Most merchants respond and process quickly after seeing the message.
Step 4: File an appeal
If the merchant has not released after 15+ minutes and is not responding to messages, tap the "Appeal" button. This notifies Binance support to intervene. When filing, provide:
- Complete transfer screenshot (showing time, amount, and recipient details)
- Bank transaction reference number (if available)
Step 5: Wait for support resolution
After support intervenes, they will verify both sides' claims. If your payment is confirmed, support will force the merchant to release. Resolution typically takes 1-24 hours.
On-Chain Crypto Deposit Not Credited
If you transferred crypto from another exchange or wallet and it has not arrived:
Check 1: Confirm the transfer was sent
Check the sending platform's transaction history. If it shows "Completed" or "Success," the transfer has been sent. If it shows "Processing" or "Queued," it has not been sent yet — keep waiting.
Check 2: Review blockchain confirmations
In Binance's deposit history, check the status. If it shows "Processing" with a confirmation count, the transaction has arrived but is awaiting blockchain confirmations. Different networks have different confirmation requirements:
- TRC20 typically needs 20 confirmations
- ERC20 typically needs 12 confirmations
- BTC network typically needs 1-2 confirmations
Check 3: Verify the correct network
This is the most common mistake. If you selected ERC20 on the sending end but used a TRC20 deposit address on Binance, the funds will not arrive. Wrong-network situations are complicated and require a support ticket for the technical team to investigate.
Check 4: Below minimum deposit
Some coins have minimum deposit amounts. Deposits below the threshold may not be credited. The minimum amount is displayed on Binance's deposit page.
Check 5: Use a blockchain explorer
If you have the transaction hash (TxID), search it on the corresponding blockchain explorer — Tronscan for TRC20, Etherscan for ERC20. Finding the transaction confirms it is on-chain and awaiting confirmations.
When to Contact Support
Contact Binance support directly if:
- Blockchain shows confirmed but Binance still has not credited (possible system issue)
- Wrong network was selected (needs technical intervention)
- Forgot to include Memo/Tag causing deposit failure
- Deposit amount does not match credited amount
Have this information ready:
- Your Binance account (UID or email)
- Deposit coin and amount
- Transaction hash (TxID)
- Sender and receiver addresses
- Problem description
Most deposit issues are eventually resolved. The key is staying calm, systematically checking each possibility, and contacting support when needed. Funds do not vanish into thin air — they are either in transit or arrived at the wrong destination, and support can track them down.
