National ID card: More commonly used domestically. Easier to photograph (flat, both sides). Most Chinese users choose this. Passport: Accepted globally. Only one page to photograph. Better if your ID card photo quality is poor. Choose whichever document is newer, in better condition, and easiest to photograph clearly. Both are equally accepted by Binance.
